Functioned as a General Contractor for one of the nations largest and most rapidly growing hotel chains. Responsibilities included: Supervising five to seven superintendents at multiple locations throughout the United States. This included taking a site through the investigative stages to determine project feasibility, as well as all other pre-construction activities. Then managing it through job setup, contract negotiations, subcontractor selection, overseeing of construction, hiring of superintendents, paying bills, problem solving, and turning over completed projects to the operations department.
*Significant accomplishments included Construction of Forty-four inns and new corporate offices accounting for 50% of all inns constructed during a four year period of time. Average inn was constructed in 4.5 months compared to 6.5 month projections. All projects were held within budget.
